Luxury Cruising

Small ships, ocean voyages and private charters, chosen for the service, the itinerary and the company aboard.

A Different Way to Experience the World

Imagine waking up to a beautiful coastline, enjoying breakfast with an ocean view, and spending the day exploring somewhere you’ve never been before.

By evening, you’re back on board, enjoying a wonderful meal, a glass of wine, and the comfort of knowing everything has been taken care of.

That’s what I love about cruising. The journey becomes part of the experience, and you get to discover new places without constantly packing and moving from one hotel to another.

But the ship you choose can make a big difference in how that experience feels.

Big Ships, Small Ships, and Everything in Between

A larger cruise ship can feel like a destination in itself, with an incredible variety of restaurants, entertainment, and activities. There’s always something to do, and for many travelers, that’s part of the fun.

A luxury small ship offers something different. The atmosphere is often quieter and more personal, with fewer guests, attentive service, and itineraries that can take you into smaller ports larger ships can’t reach.

And then there are private yachts and catamarans, where the experience becomes even more personal. Imagine exploring the islands of Croatia or the British Virgin Islands with your own group, stopping in beautiful coves and enjoying the freedom of a more flexible itinerary.

There’s no single right way to cruise. It’s about finding the experience that fits you.

It’s the Little Things That Matter

To me, luxury isn’t necessarily about the most expensive suite or the fanciest ship.

It’s about how the entire experience comes together.

The right itinerary, a ship that feels comfortable, thoughtful service, memorable meals, and the opportunity to really enjoy the destinations you’re visiting.

I look at the details that aren’t always obvious in a brochure. The atmosphere on board, what’s included, the excursions, and how much time you’ll actually have in each destination.

Those are the things that help me make recommendations I feel good about.

Experience Makes a Difference

I’ve sailed with several ocean cruise lines, including Viking Ocean, Celebrity, and Azamara, and I’ve experienced private yacht and catamaran charters in the British Virgin Islands and Croatia.

I’ve also planned and hosted a private small-ship charter along Croatia’s Adriatic coast for a group of 24 travelers.

Those experiences have helped me appreciate how different cruising styles can be, from the energy and variety of a larger ship to the quieter, more personal atmosphere of a small vessel.

When we talk about your trip, I’ll share what I’ve learned and help you narrow down the options.

Because the best cruise isn’t necessarily the biggest, the smallest, or the most expensive. It’s the one that feels right for you.

Making the Most of Your Trip

Sometimes it makes sense to spend a few extra days exploring before or after your cruise.

Whether that’s time in a favorite city, a private tour, or a longer stay somewhere you’ve always wanted to visit, I can help bring everything together.

I’ll take care of the arrangements and organize your trip into one easy-to-use digital itinerary, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.

Questions About Luxury Cruising

What makes a cruise a luxury cruise?

For me, luxury is about the overall experience, not simply the price. It’s thoughtful service, comfortable accommodations, excellent dining, and an itinerary that lets you enjoy the places you’re visiting.

Different cruise lines offer different styles of luxury, and I’ll help you find the one that matches what matters most to you.

How is a small ship different from a larger cruise ship?

Larger ships often offer more restaurants, entertainment, and onboard activities. Small ships tend to have a quieter atmosphere, fewer guests, and access to ports that larger vessels may not be able to visit.

It really comes down to whether you want the ship itself to be a big part of the vacation or prefer a more destination-focused experience.

Do you plan private yacht and catamaran charters?

Absolutely. I’ve personally sailed on private yacht and catamaran charters in the British Virgin Islands and Croatia, and I’ve planned private charters for clients.

They’re a wonderful option for families or groups of friends who want to explore together with a more personalized itinerary.

Can you help with travel before and after the cruise?

Yes. I can arrange hotels, private tours, flights, and transfers as part of your complete trip. Everything is organized into one convenient digital itinerary.
